1989 release from Melopea by Luciana, an Argentinian singer who has been active since the 70's. Arranged/directed by the Ingaramo brothers of Los Músicos Del Centro, this wonderful work has been completed with some cover tunes. The album includes the melancholy cover of "Y Hoy Te Vi" from the classic "Mateo y Trasante", the shimmering title track "Alguien Como Yo" with Litto Nebbia, a cover of Alejandro Del Prado's ballad "Los Locos De Buenos Aires", and Nebbia's cover "Cancion Para Esa Mujer". A hidden gem that gives a glimpse of Melopea's fullness at this time.
70年代より活動するアルゼンチン人シンガーLucianaのMelopeaからの89年作。アレンジ/ディレクションをLos Músicos Del CentroのIngaramo兄弟が手掛けカバーを交えた素晴らしい作品を完成させています。名作”Mateo y Trasante”に収録の哀愁溢れるカバー”Y Hoy Te Vi”、Litto Nebbiaも参加した揺らめくタイトル曲"Alguien Como Yo"、Alejandro Del Pradoのバラード曲カバー”Los Locos De Buenos Aires”、Nebbiaの楽曲"Cancion Para Esa Mujer"などなどその歌唱力を活かした楽曲がズラリと並びます。この頃のMelopeaの充実ぶりが垣間見える隠れた良作。秋の夜長にもぴったしではないでしょうか。
