True masterpiece released in 1984 by the lone guitarist Steve Tibbetts. Of course, his fellow percussionist Marc Anderson and bassist Bob Hughes provide backing. Contains 10 tracks in total, including the dazzling ensemble "Climbing" with mbira (kalimba?), tabla, and acoustic guitar, the dignified layered guitar ambience of "Night Again" the atmospheric "Any Minute" and “Mission” in which the sound spreads and disappears like a drone, backed by a continuous tabla beat. Japen original edition with rare obi strip.

孤高のギタリストSteve Tibbettsが84年にリリースした大名盤。盟友のパーカッショニスト Marc Andersonとベース奏者Bob Hughesがもちろんバックを支えています。眩い光を放つンビラ(カリンバ？)、タブラ、アコースティックギターによるアンサンブル”Climbing”、凛としたレイヤーを描くギター・アンビエンス”Night Again”、アトモスフェリックな空気感が漂う”Any Minute”、連打されるタブラをバックにドローンのように音が広がり消えていく”Mission”を含む全10曲。納涼レコードとしても一級品。稀少な帯付き日本版。
