1990 cassette release by Scottish composer Steve Moore, not to be confused with American composer Robert Steven Moore, known as a founder of lo-fi music. From melancholic minimal piece seeping with precarious tremors to floating drone where subtle emotions stir restlessly within monotonous pulses, all 7 tracks are included. Like shimmering afterimages of sound slipping smoothly into your consciousness. Just amazing. The artwork is from ‘The Beginning of Spring’ by German painter Max Klinger (1857-1920), known for his uniquely fantastical style.
Lo-fiミュージックの創始で知られる米人作曲家Robert Steven Mooreとは別人のスコットランド人作曲家Steve Mooreによる90年のカセット作品。夢や現実逃避がインスピレーションになっているようなサウンドヴィジョンのホームメイドな質感のメランコリックな楽曲から奇妙なドリーミーサウンドまで全7曲の構成。煌めき浮かび上がるような音の残像がスッーと入り込んで来るよう。最高～！アートワークは独特の幻想的な作風で知られるドイツ人画家Max Klinger(1857-1920)による『春の始まり』を拝借したもの。現在非常に稀少となっています。
