Based in Maryland USA, Sozra aka John Sosnowsky is a sound artist who has been creating works related to art and visuals. This is kind of ethno new age work made by mainly with ethnic instruments and nature sounds that return to the natural climate without the use of synths, drum machines as much as possible (synths are used on the B side), released in 1997. The composition is a series of 11 tracks that depict various phenomenons as if on a journey. B side is especially amazing. He is currently running a gallery while continuing his creative activities.
アメリカ・メリーゴーランド州を拠点にアートやヴィジュアルに関連した作品も残しているサウンドアーティストSozraことJohn Sosnowsky。本作は97年にリリースされたシンセやドラムマシーン等のエレクトロニクスを極力使用せず（B面はシンセは使用しています）自然の風土に回帰したような民族楽器や自然音を中心としたコンポジションで制作されたエスノニューエイジ作品。旅をしているような様々な事象を描いた全11曲の連なる音楽絵巻仕様。ご紹介した迷宮仕立ての89年作とはまた違った作風でこちらも推し。特にB面素晴らしい。現在はギャラリーを運営しながら創作活動を続けているご様子。
