French composer Yan Tregger, known as a unique figure in the world of library, cult disco, and progressive music, using many different names. This work was released on the French library label Musical Touch Sound under the name of David Wescott. It is characterized by the inclusion of many ambient tracks, however experimental/obscure tracks that can only be found in a library music are also very "sharp". B3 "Gold Calf Dance" with weird, shimmering beat and A4 "Passage of the Red Sea" with spacey synth and obscure drumming are highlights, and ambient tunes are also unique. Lovely cover...
数々の名義を使い分け、ライブラリー、カルトディスコ、プログレ界の異彩として知られる仏人コンポーザーYan Tregger。本作はフレンチ・ライブラリー・レーベルMusical Touch SoundからリリースされたDavid Wescott名義での一枚。アンビエント曲が多く含まれているのが特徴的ですがライブラリーならではのエクスペリメンタル/オブスキュアトラックもキレッキレ。怪しく煌めき打ち込まれるビートがヤバいB3”Gold Calf Dance”、スペーシーシンセとオブスキュアなドラミングのA4”Passage of the Red Sea”をハイライトにアンビエント曲も個性的。ジャケもいちいちカッコいい。。
